Since I was tinkering with creating a Custom Kickstart 3.9 for an Amiga A4000D I found and solved the following problems: Problem: A4000 doesn't support 512KB ROMS which can be a problem for custom 1MB ROMS Solution: Create your custom rom as a 512KB as my guide says but you exclude the 1MBROM module (if you use the 3.1 exec, or 3.9 exec). The new Final Edition extends AmigaOS 4.1 functionality with new features, such as the new console, the unified graphics library with RTG support. AmigaOS 4.1 is coming and has seen no less than 6 free major updates and at least 88 smaller updates released since then. The authentic Amiga experience with the original Amiga Operating System. After having Amiga OS 3.1 on the 1200 for a while, I'd decided it was time to upgrade to Amiga OS 3.9. Accept the license agreemant and click ' Proceed '. Now choose ' OS3.9 full installation over OS 3.0/3.1 or empty HD ' and click ' Proceed ' twice. Open your Installation CDROM and click on ' Installation ' in ' OS-Version3.9 '. Installing AmigaOS 3.9: Since you have formatted your drives, you can install AmigaOS 3.9. ![]()
